    Everytime I watch an asian youtuber cook everything looks so good and I want to try it, but I wouldn't even know where to find half of the ingredients 😭 Jenn is talking about kimchi all the time I MUST HAVE IT 😂 Also you guys seem to be loving rice with everything (even breakfast), which is definitely something we don't do in France haha So whenever I want to make an asian dish my boyfriend is like "I had rice 2 days ago already", oh if only he knew 🤣

    Bitter melon, tomatoes, onion and egg with sugar is da bomb!!! Definitely add tomatoes and onion next time. It'll make it a bit more saucy so the rice can soak up it.

    Its a shame that the shrimp shells got tossed! Almost all the umami flavor is in there! Next time boil water with shells for a good 10 minutes or more, strain and toss shells, then put shrimp in the shell broth.

    I didn’t know eggs with bitter melon are a thing. I’m indian and I’ve grown up eating bitter melon (we call it karela) as kind of a masala Indian stir fry with onions and potatoes with bread (roti). So interesting to see how people in other countries eat it. Definitely going to give this a try!

    Wow these are all things I would totally eat too!! I’ve been eating like this since I was a kid. Makes me realize how much influence my mom (we are Filipino) has from Chinese cooking in her dishes. I loooove opo with shrimp & tomatoes as well as bitter melon with eggs 😍

    – The squash-shrimp-fish-sauce soup with the white rice looks pretty good. So simple. Heh-heh.
    – That is my favorite type of Ramen.
    – I usually don't cook with kimchi, because I'm not Korean, and store-bought kimchi or the one that you get at Bibibop tastes awful. Though, I do like the one from the Korean restaurant for some reason.
    – For a sunny side up egg, I would put a lid over the pan in order to steam the top of the egg. I don't like my eggs too runny.
    – I love seaweeds!!!
    – I can't stand the flavor of bitter melons. They really taste bitter! The only reason why I have them regularly in the house is that Dad loves them, and Mom cooks bitter melons for him.
    – Yea, finally an Asian YouTuber that makes Asian meals! When I search "Korean food" or "Japanese food" or even "Vietnamese food" on YouTube, I get vegetable-heavy, home-made dishes. But when I search for "Chinese food", I just get food from American Chinese restaurants, and those foods are super-oily (because of the amount of deep frying), super-sugary (for flavor), super-salty (again, for flavor) and a ton of MSG. There are a ton of natural glutamates in foods; I don't need to add pure MSG.

    I made this Opo squash soup and added asparagus as well and fried and egg with the rice! Super filling and potent for dinner! I love it!
    I also substituted the sugar with jaggery powder (slightly healthier alternative)! So so good
